I would recommend you keep this one on your radar when award season comes rolling around. Joaquin Phoenix has sort of bounced back from his weird stage to do a movie where he plays a man living in the somewhat distant future. He gets this Siri-like computer for his house and the computer voice is played by Scarlett Johansson. Phoenix's character ends up falling in love with her as he is going through a tough breakup with his ex-wife played by Rooney Mara. It looks phenomenal and a true look at the relationship between man and computer. Amy Adams also stars in the movie.

At the time, I had not heard the full story, but the rumors were out, and at the time I answered, “Yeah, I guess he is.” What’s funny is that I really could not believe it. How could a player of Lamar Odom’s status end up on a three-day coke binge resulting in him being lost for awhile and then a DUI?

Oh yeah. This is another movie you will find me sitting in the movie theather with some popcorn. There is a lot to like in this one. Let's start off with the 1970's inspired looks from Bradley Cooper (CURLING HIS GODDAMN HAIR LIKE A BAWSE), Christian Bale, Amy Adams and Jennifer Lawrence. Yes, Jeremy Renner is in this one too, but I do not expect him to be a major player in the movie. David O. Russell wrote and directed this one adding to excitement. I assume this movie is about con men and women, but the trailer is so well done, we really have no idea what the movie is exactly about which I love.
