If you think about Matthew McConaughey's career, it might be one of the more interesting IMDB looks you'll ever had.  He started off with doing major serious movies, and then toiled for multiple years cashing checks on romantic comedies.  Something around "Surfer, Dude" and "Ghosts of Girlfriends Past" clicked because he really has not looked back since. He stars in a true story about an early AIDS patient who tries to help other AIDS victims get drugs that outlawed in America but could help them stay alive for much longer. It looks phenomenal and I would not be surprised if McConaughey gets an Oscar nomination for this one.
