This is a two-part finale as it is still unknown who will be in the final showdown for the women. They promised a plot twist by the greatest host in America, T.J. Lavin according to the Time Warner Cable description. This wraps it up for me when it comes to The Challenge Power Rankings. Next week, they will probably be halfway through the final mission with a good idea whose going to win the whole shebang.  In honor of the final Challenge, I will look at both the Men's and Women's teams individually trying to determine who gets into the final.

FEMALE GROUP
Challenger: Aneesa & Diem - What a tailspin for these two as they found themselves in the jungle for the first time at the very last one. This really has not been a good team throughout the entire Challenge. Aneesa mentioned Diem treating her like a child plus the whole Diem-CT thing threw their squad for a loop. I cannot see this group winning the jungle tonight, but if they find a way to win it, I still hate their chances to win the it all. Odds 100 to 1

Challenger:  Camila & Jemmye - See I would hate to face these two in the jungle. I would have tried like hell to put Paula and Emily into the mix even though they are the strongest female team. My reasoning is a.) The final becomes wide open and b.) They have no faced adversity of being in the jungle.   B.) is the reason why Camila and Jemmye will be in the final mission. I personally think they have an outside shot of winning the whole thing if they keep their composure. If one of them loses their cool, it is blouses for them as competitors though. I also would like to see if Camila goes D-Generation X style with a 'Suck it' to Johnny if they were to win.  If somehow they are eliminated, the final becomes a cakewalk for Paula and Emily.
Odds 10 to 1

Cooke & Cara Maria - They are somehow in the final. I rated them dead last in the power rankings, and they found a way to the final. That's incredible to me. I called them 'Arizona Diamondbacks' of The Challenge because people call the D'Backs things like 'grinders' and say 'they just play the game right', which is what I feel like both these ladies do on a daily basis. I cannot think they will win this thing because of Cara Maria. She is a weak competitor when it comes to these endurance challenges and this does not bode well for her although if there is more puzzle stuff, she will definitely be an addition versus a subtraction. If they win this whole thing, it would be a total shock the world moment.
Odds 75 to 1

Emily & Paula - I almost want this team to lose and lose bad. My reasoning is Paula crying to the males in the house to avoid the jungle. One of the most pathetic things I have seen in Challenge history. She looked scared and more reason why Emily deserves all the money they get from finishing first. Let's be real here, they will find a way to win this whole thing even if Emily has to legitimately carry Paula across the finish line. They have been the favorites since these two won the first three or four female Challenges. I also called them the 'Alabama football of Challenges' this year meaning they should win... ROLL DAMN EMILY AND PAULA.  Odds 2 to 1

MALE
Marlon & Jordan - The man 'named after a fish' and Jordan probably are not going to contend in this one. They struggled down the stretch like a lot of the young teams do in these challenges although so did Team San Diego last year then found a way to win in the final mission. They do have the willpower to win these whole thing, but Marlon/Jordan both have some massive brain farts throughout the whole thing. I cannot see these two taking it home. Both will end up with some Challenge hardware by the end of their career.
Odds 80 to 1

Johnny Bananas & Frank - I would not push Johnny Bananas buttons before the Challenge. We talked about how great it was to see Wes and CT chirp JB down the stretch making fun of his athleticism yet he will have all the motivation in the final mission. How many times have we been here before with Johnny Bananas? I will not look it up to see because I will ruin the final two episodes for myself, but Bananas has at least five or six Challenges victories under his belt. Frank went 1 for 1 already. This team is extremely dangerous fo the final mission. Odds 5 to 1

Wes & CT - Can this finally be the year for these two?  I cannot remember if Wes has won a Challenge before, but he has come dangerously close multiple times. CT has only been to one Challenge finale with Diem and he struggled in the cold. I have no idea if CT and Wes can do this together with team chemistry yet they look like the hot team down the stretch as we have seen with professional sports teams in the last couple of years. It will be an absolute battle with Johnny Bananas-Frank and Wes-CT for the finish.
 Odds 4 to 1

CT and Wes really have been lying in the weeds. They played the game the right way, and started to develop a little chemistry as the season was coming to a close. Finally, CT and Wes started to have some swagger about them so they finally decided to make a splash.  Both of them chirp Johnny Bananas after finding out JB and Frank will be joining them in the final mission.  The two get into Johnny's face and keeps talking shit to them basically punking Mr. Bananas.  I have no idea if CT and Wes will back up what they were saying last week, but it is cool to see them finally embrace the role of the villain.  Also Wes saying this is one of the worst things ever uttered on a Challenge.

7.) Cooke & Cara Maria: LW 6.) - The new group of players where we wonder 'How the hell are they here?'  and this group is definitely different than the other ones vying for a spot in the final mission. One thing that might be interesting is the fact that two of the last four women's teams left have never been to The Jungle and if one of them goes there, we could have something where Cooke and Cara are like Butler basketball playing some elite program possibly pulling off the upset.

6.) Aneesa & Diem: LW 5.) -  Now Diem has herself back in the CT vortex.  She catches heat from people, but in reality, why are people trying to disrupt happiness? Look, I realize CT is not the most stable character, but if these two folks are happy together then hell, just let it go. The reason they are ranked lower this week is because I fully expected them to be in The Jungle. I feel like Diem's relationship with CT will end up being the death knelt for this team.

5.) Jordan & Marlon: LW 7.) - These guys found a way to the final mission. Do I think they will find a way to win it? Absolutely hell no. I would be shocked if these two won the whole damn thing. I could see them competing for awhile and then fading away quick. They could make a statement this week heading into the final mission.

4.) Camila & Jemmye: LW 5.) - They are another group that could be heading into the final Jungle. I would not say they have a target on their back, but with Knight out, they definitely have no friends reaming here with JB and Frank hating them plus CT will go with Aneesa/Diem if it is between these two teams. Biggest thing with these two teams is they must keep their composure.

3.) Johnny Bananas & Frank: LW 1.) - While I think they did get punked last week, I would not want to face the Michael Jordan of Challenges with his back against the wall.  The motivation will be there for these two win the final mission. I feel like we are setting up to see Johnny Bananas and Frank win the whole thing which makes me a bit mad.

2.) Emily & Paula: LW 3.) - Any chance if they lose tonight, that there is a small coup to try and put them in The Jungle before the final mission. I mean it would not hurt the women to do such a thing.  I am not saying they would lose in there, but if they do, the women's group becomes absolutely wide open.

1.) Wes & CT: LW 2.) - These two have become the New Age Outlaws. CT is clearly the Road Dogg and Wes is Mr. Ass. I love everything they are doing right now. We will forget that CT got 'Choo-Choo''d by Preston last week because everyone is allowed a mulligan. I will be interested to see if their cocky nature continues this week

In our mid-season review, I said I wanted crazy, Hunter Hayes style, from Camila. I just love her emotion and her freakouts are legendary. So legendary that Paula calls her 'The Camilanator' and say what you will about batshit Paula but she knows nicknames. Camila freaked out after Knight not standing up for Jemmye after Frank's consistent assault. She gets pushed over the edge when Johnny tells Knight not to trust her leading her to fly off the handle.

Now, do I think Camila was wrong to freak out about that?  Yes but did I love it?  Yes times a million. She just absolutely lost her marbles over Johnny and Frank still seeking revenge against Bananas making me convinced she would kill him in his sleep. Anyways, it was a good week seeing that and some times changed in the rankings.

8.) Preston & Knight: Last Week 9.)  - One of the more disappointing teams that is still hanging around in this house. That's why The Challenge is absolutely great because there were so many good competitors and strong teams yet these two slums are hanging around. I am not going to assume they get sent home tonight, but there is a good chance.

7.)  Jordan & Marlon: LW 6.) - Like any young squad whether it be football, basketball, baseball or The Challenge, they tend to falter as the season goes on.  This is what's happening to Jordan and Marlon who apparently is named after a fish. They really have nothing going on for them right now. I do not like where they are right now as a team.

6.) Cooke & Cara Maria: LW 8.)  - I mean they finished last in the final Challenge, but I was impressed with how the two performed in The Jungle. They keep hanging around and yes, Cara Maria might not be one of the best competitors but dammit if she doesn't give it her all. They would call her a 'grinder' in professional sports or a player on the Arizona Diamondbacks

5.) Aneesa & Diem: LW 4.) - They virtually did nothing this episode.  Came close to winning The Challenge again, but not much after that. It is pretty clear what three women teams are heading to the final mission.

4.) Camila & Jemmye: LW 5.) - We talked about their freakout above, but these two are actually working really well as a team. They could be the team who gets extremely hot at the very end and end up winning the whole thing.

3.) Emily & Paula: LW 2.) - I have started to sour on this team. Yes, they are the best women's team but I feel like they might not be as tough to be defeated as I previously believed.

2.) CT & Wes: LW 3.) - All the sudden, these two win an actual Challenge, there is some chemistry building and now we get an episode where CT gets to put on shoulder pads. I like where we are headed with these two.

1.) Johnny Bananas & Frank: LW 1.) - Even if you do not like him, Frank has to go down as one of the best Challenge newbies of all-time if he wins two straight Challenges. I am not saying they will end up winning this one, but these two look like the strongest team thus far.

Honestly, there is not much to talk about with The Challenge right now. They delivered the first boring episode. Nothing really happened besides the two Challenges and Frank & Jordan getting into it. Am I mad about it?  Not at all because this season has been one of the best in recent memory and I know next week it redeems itself in a big way.

9.) Preston & Knight: Last Week 10.)  - It is pretty clear they are hanging around here until maybe the episode before the final Challenge. The reason being is everyone knows they are the weakest team in the game and keeping them in here prevents another team from winning the whole damn thing.

8.) Cooke & Cara Maria: LW 9.)  -  Cara Maria is a fraud.  She talked about enjoying electricity to her nipples or something weird like that a couple weeks ago, and then she cannot take the dog collar shock last week. After that, I felt like Cara Maria is a little faker than I expected. But I am still impressive they are hanging around here.

7.) Nany & Jonna: LW 7.) - Another team who struggled with the electric dog collar mission. Jonna is not a good competitor, and she should consider it a miracle to still be here. Even though Nany lets her emotions get the best of her at times, she is actually a pretty good player and clearly frustrated with the way Jonna plays the game. I honestly cannot see these two making it to the final mission. If they do, maybe they play the game better than I think they do at this point.
H/T MTV Canada

6.)  Jordan & Marlon: LW 3.) -  They took a massive dip after they struggled in the electric shock collar challenge and then they barely held on in The Jungle. Jordan seems to be making more enemies than friends especially with a budding feud with Frank which could make things extremely interesting, and that could come to cost them in the final weeks of The Challenge.

5.) Camila & Jemmye: LW 5.) -  Oh baby. I hate to talk about the future, but I can guarantee you I am writing about these two in the top paragraph next week.  Both Jemmye and Camila look like they are going straight off the handle, and I am looking forward to it even if I have to watch it later. So if you want to be an asshole and spoil it, I am not going to complain because I know it is coming from these two. It should be special like anticipating Texas A&M and Alabama.

4.) Aneesa & Diem: LW 7.) - Big week for these two as they won a Challenge and responded to what looked like a fractured team. Aneesa complained about Diem and talked about how they struggled with communication then they go and win the actual Challenge this week. I feel like this team is a lock to get in the  final because the way the female teams are set up at this point. Camila/Jemmye seem too unstable, Nany/Jonna are not strong enough and Cooke/Cara Maria will be in all The Jungles going forward unless they win.

3.) CT & Wes: LW 4.) - Notice how this team is just hanging around? Wes is not really saying much nor is CT, these two are just playing the game and going along their merry way. CT also could be a football color commentator. He had some great thoughts during The Jungle and I feel like he would do a better job than Daryl 'Moose' Johnston.

2.)  Emily & Paula: LW 1.) -  Yes, Olympus has fallen. It is not because they are struggling, just I feel like the team taking over the top spot is the best in the game.

1.) Johnny Bananas & Frank: LW 2.) - What a classic Johnny Bananas episode. I called him once the Michael Jordan of Challenges and I feel like words have not be truer after watching him last week. He convinced Jordan and Marlon that they had to be in a Jungle because they were rookies which is a go-to JB move. He just has to contain his partner. Bananas knows Frank could cost them a chance at the final Challenge, but I highly doubt it.

If anyone has watched The Challenge throughout the years, we always know when the Challenge castmates are challenged mentally, they tend to struggle.  Nobody can forget about the Spelling Bee episode or the history lesson as well.  We had another iconic episode where it ensured Challenge castmates could napalm each other.

They had a Challenge that basically was their version of the Newlywed game, but with much better questions. We also had people guess hair and smile as body parts. Those are not body parts in case anyone was wondering. Also the questions like 'Who's the fakest in the house?', which let me tell you from personal experience, fake is one of the worst things you can call a girl. On par with calling a dude, 'creepy'. Basically, we need all Challenges like this one. I could not love it anymore.

10.) Preston & Knight: LW 7.)  - I think it is time for these gentlemen to leave the house. They are clearly the weakest team in both the male and female division, and it is pretty clear their collective team chemistry has not got better since being teammates. I am sort of done with Knight too as I said in other posts. It is pretty clear he knows what he's doing 99 percent of the time and he is doing it to get a rise out of people.

9.) Cooke & Cara Maria: LW - 11 - I must say this group surprised me a bunch. I feel like because they are the most unlikable team left in the girls group because they are the youngest.  Cooke and Cara Maria seem to feed off of the haters. They might not hang around for as long as maybe Cooke could as an individual, but they are going to compete and go down swinging.

8.) Ty & Leroy: LW 9. - I still feel like Ty and Leroy can get to the final mission. They are rated this low because they really do not have an impact inside the house. Ty used to be an emotional wreck and he has found a way to control those feelings, at least for now. Roy Lee is not a drama starter and really is not about that life. I am not mad at these guys, just going to hurt them in the rankings.

7.) Aneesa & Diem: LW 5 - Adam, our writer and Challenge fan, mentioned how he was sort of sick of this team, and I weirdly feel the same way.  They are major players in this game and they seem to control what goes on in the voting process yet both are very tiring. Diem's cattiness throughout the house is actually pretty surprising. I never really saw her in that light, or being that kind of player. Maybe it is just this year, but she is truly looking out for herself.

6.) Nany & Jonna: LW 8.) - There are always those teams where you wonder, how the hell are they still here?  This is the team we should probably be saying that about. Nany is a pretty good competitor, but she usually runs herself into trouble when it comes to the house. Jonna is not a great competitor and runs herself into trouble. As one of the Challenge participants said, 'They are both boy crazy' which is another thing that usually ends up biting you in the ass. Crazy.

5.) Camila & Jemmye: LW 6. - Camila, the Cornhusker.. You guys will probably see me as a creep, but I somehow stumbled on Camila's Instagram. I had no idea or did not remember she lives in Lincoln, Nebraska which is definitely the last place I would expect her to live. But being a Cornhusker, it makes perfect sense why she did great work on the Catch 22 game to keep Jemmye and her in The Jungle. Also the mid-season preview showed a Camila freakout and I AM EXCITED.

4.) CT & Wes: LW 3. - People expect CT to be dumb as a rock and fairly, he can be at sometimes but he was not in this episode.  When T.J. Lavin asked him 'Who's the trashiest girl in the house?'  CT did not justify it with an answer making him safe from the wrath of any of the girls remaining in the game. Although I am 107 percent curious on the which woman, Wes or himself would have said up there.

3.) Jordan & Marlon: LW 2.) - The rookies took their first real criticism this week as Jordan broke his alliance with Theresa saying 'It was a five second thing versus the one with Diem which has been all season.'  Jordan handled it pretty well back at the house and protected his own ass in the process. I doubt there will be a movement to get these two out of the house in the coming weeks.

2.)  Johnny Bananas & Frank: LW 4 - Big week for these two winning their second Challenge of the season. I feel like two through four in the rankings are truly unpredictable. Any of these teams could end up winning the whole damn ship. Right now, the favorites are JB and Frank.

1.) Emily & Paula: LW 1.) - Emily delivered the best line of the episode when she said 'Paula is known for two things; she's crazy and she has great boobs'. Could not have said it better myself.

Zach is a loose cannon. No real way to be nice about it.  While Frank was always looked at as the guy who started drama in the new San Diego crew, Zach always seemed to start things. He completely lost in the last episode and it ended with him getting sent home in the most beautiful fashion.

Zach started out the episode giving a heartfelt story about not being there for his sister as she gave birth to her first child. Now, I feel with Zach here because that would be hard to deal with all the way over in Thailand. We do not know if the cameras kept filming him, but he all the sudden had an anxiety attack freaking out at the cameraman/woman

After a pathetic effort by his partner, Trey, they get sent into The Jungle. They look like they have beaten Ty and Leroy leading Zach to pump his chest like he just won Game 7 of the NBA Finals and chuck his helmet towards his competition yelling at them as well. T.J. drops a Lee Corso 'Not so fast, my friend' and they get disqualified.  Poetic. Justice.  I have a feeling Zach will be doing Challenges until the age of 40.

11.) Cooke & Cara Maria: LW - 10. - They are back here because I feel they are the next heading home. I would be stunned if they make it to the final five groups.  But they are all about proving the haterz wrong.

10.) Jasmine & Theresa:  Last Week - 11. - While there are people like Mr. Bananas who know how to play the game, Theresa does not nor does Jasmine for that matter. First, they play both sides of the aisle getting a victory this week but I can guarantee you it will come back to bite them in the ass. Second, she throwing a vote away to start is horrendously dumb. It starts a groupthink leading to the guy spending time with her heading into The Jungle.

9.) Ty & Leroy: LW 10. - Roy Lee passed up on the opportunity to hookup with Jemmye after she went crazy over ketchup and Knight. He did not want any part of that and took a pass. He did not do the same with Theresa making it the fifth different couple to hookup during the Challenge. We are on an unreal pace for that category.

8.) Nany & Jonna: LW 8.) - I probably should have put this team in the 'Show Me More' category. They feel like either they will be out in the coming weeks or somehow make it to the end. They are not a strong team unless we are talking about getting drunk and yelling.

7.) Preston & Knight: LW 7.) - No real need for movement from these last two groups because they are not doing anything lately. Knight, I am sure will try the stir the pot like he knows how to because he is such a rebel!

6.) Camila & Jemmye: LW 5. - Only sports blog to ever say this BUT.... CUE ME UP THE HUNTER HAYES.

I dedicate this to Camila and really hope she has not figured out how to control her emotions. Need an outburst.

5.) Aneesa & Diem: LW 4. - I am sort of over this team like Adam mentioned earlier today. They really are not doing much for me.  I am wavering as to if they will be in the final Challenge or not.

4.) Johnny Bananas & Frank: LW 6. - Big fan of JB and Frank's win because it solidifies the fact Johnny Bananas knows how to play the game. He double-crossed Zach and Trey leading to Johnny getting a win and Zach getting sent home. Vintage Bananas.

3.) CT & Wes: LW 2.) - CT had to hate having Wes as a partner when he nearly cried about Theresa, an old flame of his hooking up with Leroy. They decorated his bed frame and it really seems like Wes is the guy who acts tough that nobody likes at all.

2.) Jordan & Marlon: LW 3.)  -  Yes the rookies are the best male team right now. I hate to repeat Adam again, but he had a point mentioning they have now gained respect from the veterans. I am not going to lock them into the final, but we are getting into that range. Very impressive showing.

1.) Emily & Paula: LW 1.) - Alabama football loses a game now and then and this one does not count because they let Jazzy and Theresa win.

Think of the weirdest fear possible?  People have a bunch of strange ones ranging from a fear of looking under the bed to grass. People are afraid of the weirdest things. For me, I always saw it as a cry for attention from adults and their peers. We learned last week, Jemmye is afraid of ketchup also known as mortuusequusphobia (Thanks MTV for naming this episode).  This is by far the strangest fear I have heard of to date.

I realize people hate ketchup and would kill you if you put it on a hot dog, but there is no reason to be scared of it. Odds are she ate ketchup in different recipes throughout the year without knowing it. Although her getting mad at Knight for putting ketchup on her might be the pinnacle of 'Dumbest Challenge fights.' I have seen some dumb ones in my day, but this is by far the dumbest. Hell of a way to work out post-breakup problems..

12.) Jasmine & Theresa:  Last Week - 11. - Yes they have finally made the last spot. They were the only team to disqualify from the Challenge, Jasmine seems to be there for a simple one-liner and Theresa is just hanging around. They will not last very much longer.

11.) Ty & Leroy: LW 10.) -  I do not think they are on the chopping block and ranked 11 is probably low honestly, but right now, the women are dominating these rankings. Leroy decided to not deal with Jemmye who freaks out if she gets ketchup on her is probably the right idea. If you have anyone other than Leroy in the 'Challenge member I want to drink 20 beers with', you are doing it wrong. It would be a great time.

10.) Cooke & Cara Maria: LW - 12. - Yes, the last ranked team gets moved up a little bit due to their scheming in the last episode. They tried their damnedest to stay out of The Jungle despite being underdogs dealing with Aneesa and Diem, two women who have played the game for a long time. It seems like there is some longstanding beef with Cara Maria and the rest of the world which I do not really understand. Also she talking about having a battery pack for her nipples in the bedroom is the least surprising thing ever.

9.) Zach and Trey: LW 4.) - Why such a fall?  Honestly, next week's preview tells me they might be the lead discussion of the rankings, but they lack depth as a team in general.  Trey is not involved with a woman right now or starting any shit. Same goes for Zach meaning there is no real reason to have them near the top especially since they are not winning now.

8.) Nany & Jonna: LW 8.) - Both of the ladies on this team made some moves with the fellas at the beginning of the episode. Jonna involved with Jordan which I would be careful if I were Jordan for two reasons:  1.) Her ex-boyfriend kicked her out of their house for God knows what and 2.) Zach and her fooled around in the last Challenge, don't need to get The Hulk angry for no real reason. Nany is trying to set Tonya's record of getting involved with as many cast members as possible.

7.) Preston & Knight: LW 9.) -  While they could be heading home tonight, they still move up a couple spots because they seem to be a focus of the last couple episodes, more so Knight than Preston. The Wisconsin resident is the pesky younger brother of The Challenge household.

6.) Johnny Bananas & Frank: LW 3.) - They did not do much this week except Frank making a joke about a wet pole which was more expected than the Biogenesis suspensions.

5.) Camila & Jemmye: LW 6.) -  We talked a great deal about Jemmye but I am happy she is finally showing her first-round talent. It is like having a rookie disappoint in their first year and start developing mid-way through their second season.  Freaking out over a ketchup phobia gets you invited for at least the next two Challenges and this will not be the last time someone tries to rattle her cage using ketchup at a Challenge.

4.) Aneesa & Diem: LW 5.) - IF ANYONE WANTS TO SEND DIEM'S ACTUAL RAP TO SNOTAP. PLEASE EMAIL: SNOTAP12@GMAIL.COM. THANKS!!!!

3.) Jordan & Marlon: LW 7.) - "These rookies are for real." CT says this after they win the Challenge this week. We saw last year two rookies (Zach and Frank, let's forget about the others) come through the game and win it all in the least popular champions in quite some time. These two look like they are not going away for a long time. Are these four basically The Challenge's version of Bill Barnwell's Gang of Four in the NFL? I am going to say yes.

2.) CT & Wes: LW 2.) - The fact CT seemed legitimately excited to watch someone get electrocuted is somewhat scary but makes him the absolute best. Additionally, CT saying he still wants to punch Wes in the face and I am convinced it will happen at the end of their time in Thailand. There is also daily meditations with CT on MTV. I am dead serious.

1.) Emily & Paula: LW 1.) -  Yaaay they won again. Alabama football of Challenge teams. But  let's talk about Paula for a second, she bitches about Cara Maria not being supposed to be there but whose the one that has been at every Challenge this decade? Oh yeah that's you, do something else, your clock is up Ms. Walnuts.

Charlie.

Rabu, 31 Juli 2013

When The Challenge cast decided act out others personalities, I knew right away we were about to see some true fireworks.  All of these people are complete headcases, and any of them could say something completely out of line.

After the cast found out about Marlon's bisexuality, Knight decided to take it to another level by doing an oral sex motion in charades after Derek and Marlon had hooked up.  He took offense to this and a fracas broke out between the two. Knight always seems to have a 'Gives zero f---s' attitude, but he really seems to relishing being the bad guy. What a toolbag move by Knight though at the end trying to tell a former linebacker from Texas Tech how to fight just because he played semi-pro hockey, get outta here with that.

(H/T Crushable.com)
The fights did not stop there. Aneesa and Trishelle looked like they should have been teammates because they went at each others throats. Trishelle making fun of Aneesa for stripping is like Barry Bonds criticizing Alex Rodriguez. I feel like this is the end of Trishelle. She quit and really is irrelevant in the grand scheme of things when it comes to The Challenge. I wish she would have announced her retirement because there is nothing left.

12. Cooke & Cara Maria:  Last Week 12.) - This might be the next team on the chopping block. I nearly called it last week before Preston/Knight went into army crawl for the win. Cara Maria and Cooke do not really have many friends in Thailand plus they do not play the game very well. They are done.

11. Jasmine & Theresa:  LW 13.) - Man this team has been almost as disappointing as the next one. Jasmine has not freaked out once?  They have one of her witty/snarky quotes cued up and that's about it. Theresa chirped a bit in the first episode but nothing dramatic at all. I expected much more from this team, but it is still very early.

10. Leroy & Ty: LW 9.) - I realize The Challenge producers set up the season with different focal points and so far I am disappointed they have ignored this team. Ty is completely unpredictable and Roy Lee is a fun dude. It appears judging by what I remember from the various previews that will change this evening, hope that's true.

9. Preston & Knight: LW 14.) - What the hell?  Knight, a Wisconsin-bred kid showed off his ignorance as we mentioned above, but here's the part I do not understand Miss Lippy... Preston is very proud of his homosexuality and how can he just be okay with what Knight did?  I understand the dude is your teammate, but it still does not excuse it.

8. Nany & Jonna: LW 10.) - Ah Nany got herself involved with a hookup at the end of the episode with Marlon whom hooked up with Derek at the beginning of the episode. I loved how Nany just shook off the whole bisexual notion. While it is not a big deal, it would still be something major to wrap your head around at least for me if it were a woman.  She clearly wanted some of the love that is flowing in Thailand. Three episodes in  and three episodes have ended with a hookup, I believe that has not been done before.

7. Jordan & Marlon: LW 11.) - Big time episode for the newcomers.  Marlon is the first person to hook up with both sexes in the same episode (I do not know if this is accurate, but it feels right). No man or woman are safe. In the non-hookup division, they competed really well in the last Challenge and they look like a group here to stay for awhile.

6. Camila & Jemmye: LW 7.) - I suggest the next hookup should be Zach or Trey and Camila because I feel like the three of them are the only ones caring about the actual Challenge. Most people just want to get drunk and have a good time. But these three want to win everything and start yelling at everyone. The latter is more for Camila, love you girl.

5. Aneesa & Diem: LW 5.) - They have stayed steadily at five for the entire year and that's okay with me. They are a major part of the season and I am not sure if that's a good thing or not.  I assume we will see less of them in the coming weeks.

4. Zach & Trey: LW 3.) - Both of these guys probably tried too hard in intramurals. Although Zach had the line of the night when Aneesa and Trishelle were fighting, 'It is like watching a twisted version of two Golden Girls fight.'

3. Johnny Bananas & Frank: LW 4.) - They notched their first win of the year. I have full confidence in saying they will be there in the end. JB plays the game so well he almost always avoids going in The Jungle (We know what happens when he ends up going... Getting dragged by CT) and Frank will probably ride his coattails. I believe I called Bananas, the Michael Jordan of the game last time around.

2. CT & Wes: LW 2.) - For the first episode, CT remained quiet. That does not mean he is not an assassin.  They also seem to be out of the crosshairs of the people wanting to send them to the Challenge. This is a good thing.

1. Emily & Paula: LW 1.) - WHO GON STOP ME, WHO GON STOP ME, WHO GON STOP ME... Emily is probably saying that right now, she is like Kanye and Paula is basically Cyhi the Prince riding the coattails of a great one.

Being a rookie in this game can sometimes work out for you, but usually it ends bad like it did for Anastasia. She might be returning next year because she brought the noise in the first two episodes when it came to dramatic moments with her making out with CT after he had been canoodling with Diem, and then went on a complete rant against CT for lying to her.  She made this big scene and by the time of The Jungle, it was clear...She wanted no part of The Challenge house.

She started complaining of dizziness and looked completely weak to the competition. She basically mailed it much to the dismay of host TJ Lavin, and ensured she would be leaving Thailand thus not facing CT again until the next Challenge. To see how the ones still surviving are doing, let's head to the rankings.

14.) Preston & Knight:  Last Week: 10.) - It is pretty clear that this team might be the next ones on the chopping block. Preston does not seem like he even wants to be here, and Knight is just trying to make it through. I LOVE LOVE the fact Knight and CT are basically like tag team partners. Might be my favorite duo since the New Age Outlaws.

13.) Jasmine & Theresa: LW: 13.) - Another yawn worthy performance from these girls. I expected more from them, but it is still extremely early in the game.

12.) Cooke & Cara Maria: LW: Unranked - The Rivals crew hated Cara Maria choice as much as I do. I am not sure if they wanted another competitor like an Ev as we talked about last week, or just another person they like to drink with. I am assuming the latter. Cara Maria can always start up some shit in the house though.

11.) Jordan & Marlon: LW: 14.) - Always like to see the rookies making waves with the veteran castmates in the house. Jordan talked at great lengths about Sarah during the entire show, and mentioned 'She is type of girl you marry, but that's not what Jordan wants although she's nice to have around.'  I do not understand that phrase at all from Jordan start to finish including the douchtastic third person use.  They obviously got it on, and the first non-CT couple to watch.

10.) Nany & Jonna: LW: 9.) - They almost finished last in the Challenge which would have earned them a straight ticket to The Jungle. I want to believe this is a strong team, but I feel like you are seeing two people who are great with a four-person team, but weak when it's just two.

9.) Leroy & Ty LW: 6.) -  They really have not brought much to table yet besides Roy Lee talking down CT from choking Marlon under water.  I assume they will come back strong and some point be near the top of the rankings.

8.) Derek & Robb LW 4.) - They are basically the team in college football that beats a highly ranked team in the first week and get ranked high then they never get back there for the rest of the year.

7.) Jemmye & Camila LW: 11.) - Let's introduce the Camila Crazy Scale.... We were at a one after the first week and now we are at about a six. She started freaking out during the actual Challenge because their team was struggling mightily. Stay tuned for movements in the scale.

6.) Trishelle & Sarah: LW: 8.) - Does anyone know where this CT and Trishelle beef started from? Knowing CT and knowing Trishelle, I have to think it stems from a hookup situation gone wrong, right? Now I cannot remember if we had one on the actual Challenge, but multiple castmates do nightclub events all over the country where they just get drunk so you never know.

5.) Aneesa & Diem LW 7.) - A couple years ago, Mark and Robin stayed around way longer than expected and maybe this will happen again. Diem is basically in flux with CT because honestly, he is the only one whom seems to know her problems and from her preservative, she feels a responsibility to control CT. Diem and CT storyline will continue until one of them is eliminated; it is pretty clear it's a theme of this season.

4.) Johnny Bananas & Frank LW 2.) - Frank had his first yelling match of the year. Not surprisingly, it was with CT.  Now I am not saying I did not enjoy it, but I would like to see Frank feuding with someone else to get another person involved in the storyline. We need some fresh beef, guys.

3.) Zach & Trey LW 3.) - They keep winning Challenges or as I call it, the only guys who actually give a shit about the Challenges.

2.) CT & Wes  LW 5.) - BIG WEEK for CT.  He could not have been more involved with this episode. We mentioned him with about five different teams. CT needs to be in every Challenge season moving forward, but you knew that already. Totally weak effort from Wes, but sneaky smart only because I have no idea what the Challenge timing is like for them.  Do they do these Challenges every other day?  If so, that's a GENIUS move by Wes.  TJ Lavin hated this move.

1.) Paula & Emily LW 1.) - They might not leave this number one spot for the whole year. I called CT 'Alabama' of Challenges, but that might be only in the drama department. This might be the Alabama of the Challenge. They look unbeatable.
