This is a two-part finale as it is still unknown who will be in the final showdown for the women. They promised a plot twist by the greatest host in America, T.J. Lavin according to the Time Warner Cable description. This wraps it up for me when it comes to The Challenge Power Rankings. Next week, they will probably be halfway through the final mission with a good idea whose going to win the whole shebang. In honor of the final Challenge, I will look at both the Men's and Women's teams individually trying to determine who gets into the final.
Cooke & Cara Maria - They are somehow in the final. I rated them dead last in the power rankings, and they found a way to the final. That's incredible to me. I called them 'Arizona Diamondbacks' of The Challenge because people call the D'Backs things like 'grinders' and say 'they just play the game right', which is what I feel like both these ladies do on a daily basis. I cannot think they will win this thing because of Cara Maria. She is a weak competitor when it comes to these endurance challenges and this does not bode well for her although if there is more puzzle stuff, she will definitely be an addition versus a subtraction. If they win this whole thing, it would be a total shock the world moment.
Odds 75 to 1
Emily & Paula - I almost want this team to lose and lose bad. My reasoning is Paula crying to the males in the house to avoid the jungle. One of the most pathetic things I have seen in Challenge history. She looked scared and more reason why Emily deserves all the money they get from finishing first. Let's be real here, they will find a way to win this whole thing even if Emily has to legitimately carry Paula across the finish line. They have been the favorites since these two won the first three or four female Challenges. I also called them the 'Alabama football of Challenges' this year meaning they should win... ROLL DAMN EMILY AND PAULA. Odds 2 to 1
MALE
Marlon & Jordan - The man 'named after a fish' and Jordan probably are not going to contend in this one. They struggled down the stretch like a lot of the young teams do in these challenges although so did Team San Diego last year then found a way to win in the final mission. They do have the willpower to win these whole thing, but Marlon/Jordan both have some massive brain farts throughout the whole thing. I cannot see these two taking it home. Both will end up with some Challenge hardware by the end of their career.
Odds 80 to 1
Johnny Bananas & Frank - I would not push Johnny Bananas buttons before the Challenge. We talked about how great it was to see Wes and CT chirp JB down the stretch making fun of his athleticism yet he will have all the motivation in the final mission. How many times have we been here before with Johnny Bananas? I will not look it up to see because I will ruin the final two episodes for myself, but Bananas has at least five or six Challenges victories under his belt. Frank went 1 for 1 already. This team is extremely dangerous fo the final mission. Odds 5 to 1
Wes & CT - Can this finally be the year for these two? I cannot remember if Wes has won a Challenge before, but he has come dangerously close multiple times. CT has only been to one Challenge finale with Diem and he struggled in the cold. I have no idea if CT and Wes can do this together with team chemistry yet they look like the hot team down the stretch as we have seen with professional sports teams in the last couple of years. It will be an absolute battle with Johnny Bananas-Frank and Wes-CT for the finish.
Odds 4 to 1

FEMALE GROUP
Challenger: Aneesa & Diem - What a tailspin for these two as they found themselves in the jungle for the first time at the very last one. This really has not been a good team throughout the entire Challenge. Aneesa mentioned Diem treating her like a child plus the whole Diem-CT thing threw their squad for a loop. I cannot see this group winning the jungle tonight, but if they find a way to win it, I still hate their chances to win the it all. Odds 100 to 1
Challenger: Camila & Jemmye - See I would hate to face these two in the jungle. I would have tried like hell to put Paula and Emily into the mix even though they are the strongest female team. My reasoning is a.) The final becomes wide open and b.) They have no faced adversity of being in the jungle. B.) is the reason why Camila and Jemmye will be in the final mission. I personally think they have an outside shot of winning the whole thing if they keep their composure. If one of them loses their cool, it is blouses for them as competitors though. I also would like to see if Camila goes D-Generation X style with a 'Suck it' to Johnny if they were to win. If somehow they are eliminated, the final becomes a cakewalk for Paula and Emily.
