Paraguay sent Copa America holders packing to book semi-final spot after 0-0 in 120 minute and dramatic penalty shoot-out victory. Samba stars failed to convert even a single penalty and only one of them shot on target.

Three Brazil players; Elano, Andres Santos and Fred fired their penalty shoots wide, Thiago Silva’s penalty was saved by Villar. Cristian Riveros scored two paraguay’s penalties.
